As people in the food business, we love the food industry!  You have too! But nature connects us to our roots. And we desperately need a break to renew.  Join us for a 2-hour yoga/meditation outdoors.

Outdoors offers another level to focus on—the smell of nature, such as the water, pine, and grass. When you start to smell the outdoors, it's as if nature wants us to be present and breathe deeply.

Meet in Parking lot by the trail entrance & map. Walk together to and from observatory deck (10-15 min)


What is the John Heinz Refuge?
The John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge at Tinicum is a 1000-acre National Wildlife Refuge spanning Philadelphia and Delaware counties in Pennsylvania. Located in Tinicum Township, the refuge is adjacent to the Philadelphia International Airport. Frequented by hikers, bird watchers and more.


Who will lead our group?
Yoga and Meditation will be led by studio owner and Wellness Partner, Wesley Tudor of Raja Yoga and Meditation Center. 100% of proceeds will benefit his non-profit to provide a yoga instructor 1x a week in West Philadelphia schools. What is a Healthy Hangout?
Breathe in … and breathe out … In the #foodindustry, sometimes it’s hard to find the time to just breathe. It’s so important to take the time to do something good for yourself. There’s time, even just a few hours on your precious day off will do, and you won’t regret it. That’s why we’ve started hosting Healthy Hangouts. Centered around wellness and personal care for yourself. We design ways to allow time to connect with people who share your same stresses and to do something healthy together. Come to our #meditationmonday!


What should I bring?
Bring a yoga mat, comfortable clothes & shoes, and water. It's a beautiful place to take photos.
